It's surprisingly exactly what I remember. I read the other post and I couldn't believe some of them had such bad experiences. The chicken was cooked well, the mixed vegetables, broccoli, carrots and cauliflower, were good and the mash was as it was 20 years ago. Even the peta bread I ate but didn't need was a smaller portion of the same taste.
Yeah there are some new things on the menu but YaYa's has far from ruined what it once was the way Halo Burger has. It still taste like home. -

Love the freshness of this place. You can see the chicken being roasted and it tastes amazing. I just have difficulty paying these prices for a single lunch. Also the wait during busy times (lunch) can get somewhat long.

I came here from NC and was looking forward to Ya Yas. The chicken was dry. Worst of all, the guy working behind the counter with a beard but no mustache had his pants so loose that they fell to his knees exposing a very large white bare behind. It was a very full moon. After he pulled his pants back up another guy gave me my food. I was speechless.

Tasty chicken but for the price I am not sure. It is very healthy option and for the dieters or healthy eaters it will satisfy other members in the family as they do have sides to satisfy most people in general. The pita is good. I had mac and cheese and thai peanut wrap. Not bad. I did ask for sauce on side so I could control the dressing amount.
The only thing I had issue was the price point. Was it organic free range chicken? Just curious. Will I be back if I was in the area? Maybe. -

Used to be amazing now it is utter TRASH. Holy cow I can't believe how shitty their food is now compared to years ago when it was owned by someone else. Night and day difference. Shame on the 1 or 2 people that absolutely ruined this franchise literally overnight when the owner's keys exchanged hands. Gross food.
They used to have KILLER mashed potatoes, I mean yayas used to be a damn good treat. Now the potatoes are straight up sloppy and they taste so GROSS AND WEIRD. Extremely gross. WHY DID YOU CHANGE THE MASH N GRAVY? You guys SUCK now. Way overpriced and just gross food. Now we will literally never go back ever again. We used to absolutely love Yayas for over 15 years. And now we're done. Game over.
I waited a few years to go back to see if they could get their act together but it's only gotten worse. I'll never forget the day years ago I got home with our food and flipped out because they changed their killer mashed potatoes into something that is just god damn disgusting tasting. Oh my god. I'm so bummed out. Yayas is dead to me forever. Great job changing the amazing chicken salad dressing too. Now even THAT IS GROSS. What a shame. These newer owners absolutely ruined every bit of love I had for Yayas food ever since I was a kid. Never going back ever again and I advise everyone to steer clear. They don't deserve your money for their overpriced crap food. Literally a franchise ruined over night. Ugh. Another one bites the dust. Good bye. Done.
